This week we start our new unit on Going West. This unit is about the expansion of the United States into the western part of this continent. Our first story is about Sacagawea, a story about the exploration by the Lewis and Clark, and the Corp of Discovery, and how a young Indian woman, helped them find their way.

Some of these links are a reference source (they have information), some of them have activities to complete. Here are some possible ways to do this report:
- A PowerPoint (at least 5 slides with some writing) with pictures
- A post to this blog (at least 8 sentences) with links to the pages you used
- A podcast where you give a report
- A podcast where you have a discussion about an activity
You can write about a subject, or do an acitivity. If you do an activity, you can discuss or write about what you learned from the activity. If your write about a subject, you need to include links, or citations in your report. If you do a podcast, you should include a script (with citation of sources).
Please leave comment telling me what you will be doing for your project. Include the topic (subject), and what you will produce (a written report, a podcast, etc.):
